This Walk Is Now Full. Climb over Whitrope tunnel on this route which follows the line of the disused Waverley Railway Line and overlook Long Burn and Slitrig Water on the way. We pass the Shankend Viaduct and Stobs Castle then walk through the remains of Stobs Camp and onto Acreknowe and Williestruther Loch before the final leg onto Vertish Hill for great views over Hawick and the surrounding countryside.
