This is a circular walk in the Teviothead area.Over a lonely country road and open hill country which takes in memorials to three very different Borderers. Goes by way of Bowanhill Farm – Johnnie Armstrong’s grave then via Carlenrig to visit Hizzy’s Cairn, on to Blackcleuchgate, Blackcleuch Rig, Falnash, Birkebrae, Henry Scott Riddell monument then return to start point.
