AM: Walk the Mill Lade, taking in the restored water wheel, to meet the Ettrick River and onto the Cauld and the meeting of the waters. Our walk finishes at the Salmon Viewing Centre. PM: Battle Walk. Step back to 1645 as we learn about the bloody Battle of Philiphaugh on this walk around the battle field and surrounding area. The walks will last approximately 2 hours each. Please bring suitable seasonal clothes and a camera. We will return to The Waterwheel Café, at midday, which will be open for lunch and drinks.
