Leaving Peebles this walk reveals spectacular vistas of the chaotic topography of the hills stretching to the west and north of the town, before descending to the village of Eddleston. The walk returns to Peebles by a pleasant Old Drove Road with a fairly strenuous climb over White Meldon.
