Leaving Walkerburn over the River Tweed we go on good forestry roads up on to the Southern Upland Way to the Minch Moor summit, past the Cheese Well and through Plora Wood. Outstanding views of the Scottish Borders countryside and beyond with the chance of seeing Osprey, Buzzard and perhaps a Golden Eagle.
