From the square at Newcastleton we make our way north east to Yethouse Hill. Then entering Newcastleton Forest we reach the footbridge across Kershope Burn and enter England. Only a brief visit as we now proceed beside the burn we re-enter Scotland. Returning via the old Waverly Railway Line we pass the historic sites at Tourney Holm and Mangerton Tower on the way back to cross Holm Bridge into Newcastleton.
